Alpha Xi Chapter at West Virginia University

Membership in Delta Gamma brings with it countless memories and experiences which will shape its members for years to come.

Consistent with our Founders' thoughts in 1873, our primary purpose is to create an environment for our members in which lasting friendships and our vows of sisterhood emanate all aspects of our Fraternity. We encourage an atmosphere which will foster high ideals of friendship among college women,
promote their educational and cultural interests, create in them a true sense of social responsibility and develop in them high qualities of character.

Delta Gamma is more than just a collegiate experience; it is a lifetime of commitment, support and opportunity awaiting you. It marks the beginning of a relationship that will last for a lifetime.

Spring '19 Sister, Paige Bergefurd said, "To me, “do good” means acting selflessly in ways that better not only your community but also the people around you. You never know what those around you may be going through so doing one selfless act each day or each week can make a much larger impact than you may realize. One of my favorite quotes is “go into the world and do well but more importantly go into the world and do good”. I love this quote because it emphasizes the importance of not only doing well for yourself but doing good things for other people as well. Being able to serve others and make a change, no matter if it’s big or small, while being surrounded by my Delta Gamma sisters is an experience like no other and I wouldn’t trade it for the world."

Spring '20 Sister, Maggie Robertson said, "When I think of DG, I think of love, unwavering support, and family. This chapter has provided me with such a positive, encouraging atmosphere, and it has introduced me to some of the kindest, most supportive women that I have ever met. I can’t imagine college, or life in general, without DG, and I am so grateful to be a part of it. DG has been there for me during my lows and celebrated with me during my highs. Thus, to me, DG means everything, and I am so happy to surround myself everyday with the confident, strong women I get to call my sisters."
